While there ARE some similarities between this and other packages in the market, there are also some noticeable differences. A popular book that sold really well offered its' readers a program to follow for 12 weeks claiming that anyone, regardless of their level, could follow and benefit from the guidelines in the book. Let me be the first to tell you that One program does not fit all! I have found that there are 3 levels of trainee: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Each one requires different exercises, supplements and diets to ensure maximal fat loss while gaining muscle.
  2. Why many 12 week programs do not work. While there will be some improvement by following a program for 12 weeks, a number of programs fail for the same reason – the trainee reaches a plateau and doesn't make any more gains! The body is a very adaptive organism and will become accustomed to any program in a relatively short period of time. How long should one be on the same program? It depends but in the majority of cases I have come across, one should change programs every 4 weeks for optimal results. There is a balance between continuity and variety. Too much variety and the body does not get the full benefit from the program. Too much continuity and you reach that dreaded plateau. Not only do the exercise programs change monthly but so do the nutrition and supplement programs.
  3. One diet does not fit all. Do you have food allergies/intolerances? If so, they may be holding back your fat loss efforts even though you are eating healthy, organic foods.
